  • Day 9 – Osaka – Christmas

    The shopping districts did embrace Christmas.

  • Day 9 – Osaka – Osaka Castle – Day and Night

    One of the places I was looking forward to seeing was Osaka Castle.  It did not disappoint. To get a contrast, I went back at night since they light up the castle and see how it compares to the day views.  By the way, it is super cool at night and not crowded at all.

  • Day 8 & 9 – Osaka and the Shopping Districts of Shinsaibashi-Suji and Dotonbori

    While in Osaka, my hotel was located in the Shinsaibashi-Suji district.  This is a very bougie neighborhood.  The street has Rolex, Omega, Giorgi Armani and other stores.   • Day 7 – Kyoto – Toji Temple

    This is definitely one of the unexpected highlights of my trip so far was my evening visit to Toji Temple in Kyoto.  It was packed but definitely worth the visit.     One thing that Nara is famous for is the Nara Deer in the park.  There were hundreds of them wandering around. Tourists can buy crackers to feed the deer.
