This is definitely one of the unexpected highlights of my trip so far was my evening visit to Toji Temple in Kyoto. It was packed but definitely worth the visit.
They light up the grounds and the reflections of Fall colors in the water is amazing. Plus the five storey pagoda lit up was amazing.
If you ever get the chance to see Toji Temple on a fall evening, I recommend you do it .
