After my train ride the night before, I woke up in Kyoto wanting to go see the temples in the Arashiyma District.

The first spot I visited was the Arashiyma Bamboo Grove.  It is a beautiful walk.

I then visited Tenryū-ji Temple.  It is a beautiful grounds in the Fall. 

The highlight of Tenryū-ji is something I was not allowed to photograph.  It is a ceiling mural called Unryūzu the Tenryū-ji Cloud Dragon.  It is breathtaking to see in person.
