One thing I learnt on this day trip from Tokyo is to pay attention to weather forecasts and plan to overnight in the Five Fuji Lakes area as there is a lot to see and do.
The start was a waterfall in town.
I am always impressed with waterfalls.
I then proceeded to another iconic photo spot in Japan, the Chureito Pagoda.
It was beautiful sight even with Mount Fuji covered in clouds.
I did enjoy the Fall colors.
I took a short boat trip on one of the lakes. It was chilly enough that I was required to put on a hoodie.
I ended my trip to Mt. Fuji by taking a walk in Maple forest to enjoy the Fall colors.
