I took the train in the morning to Kita-Kamakura Station from Tokyo.  Kamakura is a seaside city South of Tokyo that is home to impressive temples.

While in Kamakura, I visited Engakuji Temple, Meigetsuin Temple, Kenchoji Temple, Kotoku-in and Hasadera Temple.  All five sites were amazing.

Engakuji Temple

It is a Zen Buddhist complex built in 1282.  It is a short walk from the Kita-Kamakura Station.
